EU-China Collaboration Workshop in Shanghai

A group of 30 computer scientists from China and Europe met in Shanghai during 16 to 18 February to participate in a workshop for discussing collaboration plans between EU and China. Three project areas are defined, Cyber-Physical systems in Healthcare, Privacy Aware Social Network, and Software Certification. The workshop was jointly convened by Dr. Zhiming Liu of UNU-IIST and Prof. He Jifeng of East China Normal University and Prof. Jim Woodcock of the University of York.
Dr. Johannes Faber of UNU-IIST attended the workshop. A following up workshop will be held at the University of York at the end of April this year.
